Stephen Hughes lives in Oakland, California with his fiancé, Briana, and their two cats, Penny and Onions. He studied photojournalism and film production at San Francisco State University. When he’s not taking pictures he enjoys watching movies, riding motorcycles, and writing about himself in the third person.

I’ve photographed all kinds of events, from concerts and sporting events to corporate events and charity fundraisers. I’ve shot press conferences from City Hall to the Whitehouse, and I’ve shot concerts everywhere from basements to 10,000 person venues. At every event I cover, I always present myself in a professional manner, and dress appropriately for the occasion.
